Motorcycle: Indian Scout “Miracle Mike”
Customizer: Young Guns Speed Shop
Rider: Katja Poensgen
The Indian Scout already features a modern chassis, a low center of gravity and a liquid-cooled 94-horsepower V-twin engine as standard. For the Essenza Sprints, the Young Guns Speed Shop from Rapperswil in Switzerland transformed the sporty cruiser into a snarling racing monster named “Miracle Mike”. After countless hours of planning and rebuilding, the Scout has been given a Dragster style without losing sight of the typical Indian design. With an elaborately prepped nitrous oxide engine system, Miracle Mike is one of the most complex bikes that has ever officially been rebuilt by Indian Scout.
Racer and motorcycle expert Katja Poensgen will be turning the throttle of the “Miracle Mike” at Essenza. The lady from the Allgäu region in Germany made history by becoming the only woman to ever qualify in the king’s class of motorsports racing. Her exciting CV includes a victory at the European Supermono Cup, the E-Bike Vice-World-Championship and a job as co-presenter for motorcycle racing with the German TV station RTL.
Engineering expertise and experienced rider give an efficient team. At Cafe Racer Fesival in Montlhéry “Miracle Mike” confidently won first place of all Essenza sprints.
